Smart and fashionable
Date:28 November 2009
I stumbled upon this skirt whilst browsing online. The main picture doesn't show the details like the buttons at the back - very fifties chic. I wore it to work and received a number of compliments. The sizing is fairly generous and if I'm honest I would have preferred it to be a little shorter (I'm 5'7" and it falls below my knees). Also to be a true pencil skirt I think it should taper in more but having said this a good addition to my working wardrobe.

Fantastic Find
Date:18 November 2009
I spotted this skirt in the brown mix when visiting a store recently. It was in a collection I would not normally buy from (always think of it as the 'old peoples' selection as it's where I get things for my mother). It was the colour blend that caught my eye and when I wore it to work so many people commented on how great it looked. I wore it with a grey cowl neck but it would look equally great with brown. Looked good with heels but would also go well with long boots. Was worried about the seams pulling but as the skirt is quite generous I don't think this will be a problem.

Perfect for casual looks, this cowl neck jumper is fashionable and feminine.

Smart, snug and so soft
Date:5 November 2009
On-line order arrived today and after trying it on I just know I will love this jumper. The size is good and I really like the sleeves which fit snuggly at the wrist with a nice deep cuff. If it washes OK I shall certainly be ordering in another colour. UPDATE:

It washed really well and I now have three more colours. Always getting nice comments when I wear these jumpers.

More colours PLEASE
Date:17 October 2009
These are the most wonderful shoes. They look equally terrific with opaque tights and pencil skirts as they do with trousers. They are blissfully comfortably but my one complaint is why are they only available in black?

Wardrobe essential
Date:10 October 2009
I fall back on these t-shirts all the time and am delighted by the longer length. I find them particularly useful this time of the year when I need a bit more than summer tops and I'm not ready to go into jumpers. Ideal for work with smart skirts or at week-ends with jeans. Do find I always have to try on before buying as sizes do vary and like a previous reviewer I would like more stretch in the thread used at cuff and bottom as this invariably breaks when stretched and I have to re-hem. Overall though good value for money.

Winter Warmer
Date:9 October 2009
This is a beautiful winter shirt. Nice material and a pleasant change to have a smart, affordable business skirt in such a lovely colour. Can see the large 'gobstopper-like' buttons will soon become irritating and I will probably change them for flat ones. Do be aware of sizing; having had previous disappointments regarding size with M&S skirts, I ordered a size larger than I normally wear and it's fine.

So comfortable
Date:3 October 2009
Lovely material; not too heavy. They fit beautifully but not too sure about the pressed centre crease - thought that went out of fashion in jeans decades ago or am I out-of-date and it's come full circle as fashion so often does. As other reviewers have asked, please don't discontinue.

Size warning
Date:20 August 2009
It's a nice skirt but even for M & S the sizing is ridiculously inaccurate. With M&S I have size 14 and size 16 skirts that fit beautifully; I have size 14's that are a bit neat and size 16's that practically fall off they are so generous. Having read other reviews I thought I would be cautious and go for a 16 but the skirt would barely do up so be aware this is not a generous cut. Wouldn't it be nice if M&S could be consistent!?

Great length/Inconsistent Sizing
Date:11 June 2009
I love the longer length but why oh why can't M & S be consistent with their sizing. Although my size hasn't changed, last year I had to buy size 18 to get a comfortable fit (I'm usually a size 16). This year I needed to replenish my t-shirts and knowing that M&S have a bit of an issue with sizing I tried a t-shirt on in store and found size 16 was a perfect fit so purchased four in total in different colours. The three I didn't bother trying on are a totally different size and will have to be taken back and exchanged for larger size. Cheap t-shirts not so cheap when I have to make a round trip of about 30 miles to get to my closest store.
